Had my first PAM Torpedo today. This is the first Super Premium Cigar I ever bought. I started smoking cigar (for real) around last January. I bought this bad boy in February of '03. It's been sitting in my humi ever since.

All I can say is WOW!

It was incredible. The construction was fabulous; as usual for Padron. The ash held on for nearly two inches before it fell perfectly on the table we were all sitting at, LOL. The draw was perfect. It was the smoothest cigar I ever had, yet extremely flavorful. Tasted extremely similar to a Padron 1926 only not as strong. (Yes, I know Cigah Smoka, after a year its the same age as a 26.) Possibly the best Padron I've smoked. Did I say it was smooth. I almost wanted to inhale. Up next for the Favorite Padron title: a Padron Millenium sometime end of this month and eventually my favorite PAM size, an Imperial I'm letting age a little. For now though, the champ is the one year old PAM Torpedo.

Ah Ric, welcome to the land of high-brow Padron Sluts!! :D :D :D

We are a special group indeed!! :p

Interesting -- you like the PAM Torpedo better than the Padrón 1926 #9?? I feel the opposite, although they are both great cigars, I'd give the nod to the 1926 #9 or 1926 #2 (torpedo).

Still, we're talking about cigars that are all so good, it's hard to go wrong. I just like the richer taste of the 1926's.

Yeah, Ric actually finished a cigar in an hour!! Impressive!!
Was this smoked at "The Office" during a couple of games of darts? :D

My dear Bat Chief, it is I who passed down the torch of Padron Slut to Moki :D . I just never had a Torpedo. Believe me, I've had everything else even the $0.65 Cazador from Little Havana.
I've been a proud Padron slut since day one. It was a Padron 2000 that started me down the path.

In this particular case, yes I did like the Torpedo. I think a lot had to do with it being in the humi for a year. It mellowed out a little. Smooth I tell ya. I prefer the 26 #9 to the #2 for some reason. I'm dying to have an Imperial with a little age on it. Now there is my favorite Padron size. Then again, still waiting on the Milleniums. I know, I know, I'm going to smoke one. I think Cigah Smoka and I might torch one up for our birthdays in March. Gator will just have to join in.

It was smoked in the office, but no darts. A mini-herf if you will. Emo passed by. So 4 CPers were there iinstead of the usual 3.

Boy are you in for a treat Ricardo. I threw a PAM Imperial in your pass that will be 3 years old this summer. They are smoking incredible right now

Yeah the Padrón 1964 Imperial Maduro is the first Padrón I ever had. I agree, it's my favorite size of the 1964's (do I hear a box split coming up?? :) ). I still prefer the Padrón 1926 #9 Maduro to it by a good margin tho.

Smoke up buddy, they are both great cigars!

The PAM torpedo is my favorite smoke. I have to keep 6 in my humi at all times. Once I did below 6 I make an order.

Enjoy!

Ooooo, face reddens, heart rate increases and the FNG Bat_Chief becomes ashamed of himself.... :(

My appologies Ric, I now do seem to remember that post......I shall no more insult the likes of a retired albeit still active Padron Slut! I offer you my humble loyalties!

Eh, a little over the top, but you get my drift! :D

The PAM Torpedo and the 1926 No.2 are my two favorites. I haven't smoked enough of either one to say which I prefer but they're definitely my favs out of all the 64s and 26s.
