Got this baby for Christmas. I decided today would be a good day. Just a coincidence that we are 6 months away from Christmas. This beauty has been sitting in my humi for 6 months. Extremely Dark anf Oily. Perfect draw. The only other no.1 I had, had a draw that was too loose. This one was right on. Extremely SMOOOOTH! Like other 26's I've had that were amazing, a Chocolate Mousse smoothness and richness if you will.

One of the weirdest things though, it had a stem in the middle that would not break. Even after the ash fell I had a pointy thing in the middle. Looked like I had a toothpick sticking out of it. Eventually I pulled it out and burned my fingers in the process. It did not affect the smoking of the cigar though. just looked a little funky.

I see why you like them big Bill. Thanks for a great smoke. Looking forward to you being my Secret Santa again next year :D .

Ah yes, those #1's are my favorite size.

I've never had the stem problem with one of those but have experienced the same with other cigars.

The wrapper taste and the smoothness of those 26's to me is better than the 64's

Glad ya liked it ;)

:p For having one! I'm just messing around. Some day I'll shell out the big bucks to get one :D

Don't know if I could make that general statement or not. I like them both. However, it does seem that after being in the humi a little bit the 26's are smoother and richer than the 64's. Just an observation.

What a great cigar. I love them too. I could not help but laughing out loud when I read about the stem. I could see you sitting there with a toothpick shoved up your cigar and it just was too funny. But it sounds like you had a very good experience anyway.
