This is a cigar that I have hunted for a long time and I am grateful to Jonas for the opportunity to try one. The Millennium’s reputation precedes it and gives the smoker a feeling of anticipation that is remarkable for its anxiety and expectation. I witnessed at least three maduro Millenniums go up in flames at the Padron event at the Outlaw cigar herf in Kansas City and this made me want to smoke one even more.
The cigar was magnificently presented with a rich pre-lit aroma of nicely aged tobacco. The bunch was firm and after I scored and lifted the cap I found the draw to be prefect.
The cigar burned evenly from beginning to end revealing a deep white ash that was slightly weak compared with other Padron cigars.
The flavors coming out of the cigar were a class unto themselves. I’ve smoked cigars with some outstanding flavor characteristics, but I’ve never smoked a cigar that was so rich and creamy as the Millennium. There was a smoothness to the smoke that gave the overall experience a quality of excellence that I have yet to match and this rich quality of smoke highlighted an amazing experience. This cigar was the most balanced one that I’ve ever smoked. The Millennium’s construction is a remarkable achievement. This was a memorable cigar. Every serious smoker should try one.
