I'm definately checking this event out, love Padrons. Never been inside but I drive by this place a few times a week on the way to work. I just assumed they were a wholesale company.

Love Padron's but the vendor is a jackass. I'll stick with the events run by people that are worth a shit.

I'm not sure if any other CP members stopped by, but this cigar rolling event was the best I've ever been to. It was packed when I walked in but within a few minutes a woman walked up and greeted me with a smile. Asked if I needed help and I told her I was with CP. Come to find out it was Marette. She was very friendly and helpful. She introduced me to Chris the owner who handed me a 40th Anniversary on the house and showed me where the food and drinks were. I recommend anyone in the South Florida area to pass by even if you're just curious. This is a great little shop and if the entire Padron family took the time to hang out there for a day, it says alot about them..

I may be a tad off base here, and if I am, I deeply apologize. Tattoojason...BOTH of your posts on CP are in this thread, you have no information in your profile, and have never introduced yourself not been invovled as far as I know.
A few members stated that this vendor was a jackass and not a BOTL, and you are now telling us that they are the best in the universe and hand out Padron 40th to random folks off the street during their events. Especially those that tell them that they are "with" CP.

You've made me curious...and my asshatolitry meter is starting to pick up some backround noise.

They didn't just hand me a 40th for walking in. I spoke with Marette for a good 15-20 minutes. She told me she was glad to see that someone from this board came in, then offered me a Opus X for $30.00 (joking around) and that was about it. There were several guys from 2 other cigar forums there that I was introduced to, Herfers Paradise and CS(?). Guys that were in the store for the first time from the forums were all handed a free 40th so I was not the only. I think 4 other guys received them also.
