I hear and see a lot of people on this forum who like smoking the regular padrons, and since I really like the anniversarios I decided to buy a fiver of the 2000s. I have smoked two the past two nights and have absolutely loved them. They burned really well and had really good flavor all the way down.

My question is how many of you guys smoke the padrons on a regular basis as a cheap go to smoke? and should I have a box on hand at all times? I know if I like it then it doesnt really matter what others think, but I am just curious how many of you are smoking them a lot. i mean, at 3 bucks a stick I dont see how I can go wrong. Again, thanks in advance for the imput. Always appreciated.

Got to agree - I keep Padron 2K / 3K's in maduro around all the time for just that reason. They are a fantastic reasonably priced smoke, and the only improve with a little time on 'em....

Yep. I always have the 2000 maduros on hand. I like to keep some 3000s as well, but right now I'm out. Need to go out and get some real soon. :whistling:

The 3000 is the smoke that sucked me into cigars, I'll always have a love affair with the 3000.

Tonight I've got my first VSG lined up, a Tres Mystique.

Had my first 2000N a few weeks ago and loved it.
Just trying to save up some change for some purchases now.

You're going to love that cigar! And as far a Padrons go, I smoke at least one Delicias a day.

Doc.

wasy I think you are going to enjoy that vsg. They are great smokes imo.
Well sounds like the botl have spoken. Thanks for all the feedback. I am going to buy some 2000s as my next box purchase.

Padrons are my go to smoke, 3000, 2000, 5000, Delicias & the others too.
Most consistant cigar I have found out there.
I just wished they were round.

I have smoked 2 fresh 2000's and didn't like them. So I have 2 aging, bout 6 months of age on them, so i'm interested to try them and see if I like them now

Regular line Padron maduros are my go to golf course cigars. Here is a list of the ones I keep in stock at all times. In my opinion they are the best value smoke out there, almost every size can be had for under 4 bucks a stick.

Magnums

Palmas

Ambassadors

Churchills

6000 .... I sometimes smoke these even when I am not on the course when I am looking for a strong Nicaraguan kick.

3000

I always have at least one full box of the Padron 2000 in maduro aging. Arguably one of the best $3 cigars out there. As far as my tastes go, it is without compare.

Fresh, not bad. With 6 months or more on them, just fantastic.

Husker,

It's really great to see you posting here.

I find that the longer I keep them, especially loose in the box, the rounder they get.

Well I think I am going to try aging 10 of them or so if I can keep from smoking them.

I am a fan of the smaller smokes...especially when it is 14 degrees outside here right now... so I think I am going to go with the 2000 for now and get a few of the bigger ones to try out.

Got my first one from the Newbie sampler trade and I liked it so much that I ordered a box of 2000's maduros and a Padron Thousand Series Sampler from Holts.com and they came in today. Had a fresh 3000 tonight, which was pretty good, except had a uneven burn, that had to be touched up. Lots of good creamy smoke though. The box is in the humi sleeping til fall, if I can wait that long!

Edit for B&T protocol.

I've got two boxes of the 3000 in the coolerdor. One is just over two years old and the other is just over one. When I finish one..I buy another.

Luv'em OTT but, aged....they are marvelous

The Delicias are my favorite smaller sized cigar, its amazing how much flavor they pack into such a small package :) . The are also good for handing out to friends who dont smoke often and wouldnt finish a full size cigar.

I still haven't tried a 2000, or any Padron except for the 1926 series. Jeez... where have I been? ???

Pretty spot on I have 000's series in high regard as they seem to be one of the most consistent & quality tasting cigars per $ out there.

I am partial to the 3000 and always stock at least a 5er around. When on sale I think these maddies are a must for your aging in the cooledor/cabinet. Same can be said for 2000 & 4000 although there have much different subtleties in the flavor and not just the vitola. With some age they do prove themselves worthy to more then double their present $ value.
