Nicaraguan puro (I believe)

So the future Mrs. went out for awhile and left me home to my own devices. I decided to give this smoke a try after reading a review of one BOTL experience at his new house.

I also have one of those Padron ashtrays and I thought it a shame that I have this beautiful ashtray with the name sake, but never even tried one of their cigars yet! How foolish would I feel if someone were to ask if I had a Padron after looking at the ashtray  .

I picked up this cigar at a B&M to give it a try. Interestingly, I could not get a pre-light aroma. The construction overall was pretty good. The cut was clean with no unravelling and the pre light draw told me it was going to be a nice smoke.

I lit it up and got a nice even burn right down to the nub. The smoke was abundant and pleasant. The taste was little on the creamy side and I really enjoyed it. The BOTL was right. You didn't want it to end.

I understand that this one tastes even better when aged a year or two. I will be getting more just for that purpose and the price seems to be right.

I hope the other Padrons out there are in line with this experience if not better!

Thanks for the review. These are definitely one of my favorite everyday smokes

I've never tried any of the regular Padron line. I've only had a few 26's and 64's. For some reason the local B&M doesn't carry Padron :( , so I've had to order the ones that I have had. I gotta find some of the regular line!

Just dragging this back up. These have recently been my goto smoke. They are incredible with a glass of amaretto. Creamy and copious amounts of smoke.
