I like the construction of this cigar. It’s not perfect, but it’s also not bumpy or coming apart. I also tend to favor box-pressed cigars. This cigar is initially very full-flavored. A lot of cocoa here, which is what I’ve read about the Anniversaries as well. I never know what to expect with the thinner cigars though. I don’t usually buy them, but lately I’ve felt like experimenting. This is the first 64 I’ve tried. It is tasty, seems strong, but time will tell.

I was trying to get a nice long ash for a pic and now it’s in my lap. Amateur. It’s windy and a bit on the chilly side on the patio tonight. This afternoon it was 80 degrees. Yep, this is March in Minnesota. I know we’re not supposed to talk shop in here, but global warming anyone? All the more reason to smoke em if you got em.

The draw on this stick is just right. I’ve struggled with the draw on a bunch of smaller cigars, but there is ample smoke here. This cigar is putting up a fight as well, she doesn’t want to go down. I don’t think the burn is going to challenge me. It’s nothing but even.

I’m running out of things to say about this cigar. The cocoa flavor is still dominant. I’m not picking up much else. It doesn’t seem all that complex. Burning well, drawing well. I’ll see if anything else happens, otherwise I’ll snap a couple more pics, rate it, and call it a night.

Overall, the flavor, draw and burn remained consistent. The strength was full, but it didn’t knock me out. I will say that this sucker took me as long to smoke as any other Robusto or Toro would. I expected more complexity, but never got it. Due to that, I would rate it at an 89. However, I will have to try one of the larger sizes before deeming this line a bit over-rated. With the exception of the Joyo Antano, I haven’t smoked a smaller gauge cigar that tasted as well as the larger sizes.
