Combination of saturdays evening: PAM 1964, milky coffe, vanilla cake, Jay Leno and then Conan O'Brian Show. :)
Ok, its very good ocasion to make some 'Wilkey style' picture :)

I've decided to lose my PAM virginity with something small - I took a Principe.
Its 4,5x46 as You all probably know, its made of, also as You know, with 4year aged nicaraguan tabacco.
Its really well build and spongy.
This square shape is really unusuall and looks pretty cool for a person who never had this kind of smoke before.
The wrapper is beautifull maduro, it smells great with cocoa, coffe and bits od sweet wood.

The draw was perfect at all, and before lit up taste was almost the same as I could feel using only nose.
Maybe only a little sweeter.

Just after I took my first pufs I felt this incredibly creamy and a little sweet cocoa - coffe - woody taste.
The greatest surprisse was this creamy and soft smoke.
My tongue was feeling like I was drinking dense chocolate cream!
It was awesome.
Althought I was feeling all those tastes, they were not too strong.
I can say that the taste power was in normal level

All the time PAM was burning very equal, there was no sideburns or something like that, it was really great!
The ash was grey, and then even almost white.
It was hard as a rock and I think it was very possible to keep it until the end.
More less in the middle the taste become stronger.
All this creamy feeling was more powerfull, just like cocoa and coffe flavours.
Dont know if I felt it well but I think there were also some leather tastes

The last 1/3 it was really the best part.
All I could feel was this warm creamy sweetnes pouring on my tongue.
I have never had any cigar that could give me that feeleng.
It was really incredible.

Unfortunatelly what is good ends to fast, and after 50 minutes of pleasure it was getting to hot to keep it in fingers, so I had to put it down.

With all mind clarity I can say it was one of the best smokes I had, if not the best one!
Im also glad, that I have 2 more bigger ones in my humi. :)

Good review, great pics. I myself personally prefer this size, athough my fingers don't quite have the tolerance to withstand the burn yet.

Great review - this is my all time favorite "morning with coffee" smoke. I think all the anni's are fantastic smokes.....

Be sure to try a natural wrapper version as well. They are both fantastic, but offer different flavor profiles.

Cheers - B.B.S.

What a fantastic review! Great photo sequence and nicely sized too. You captured the experience perfectly.

Now you know why guys like me and B.B.S. are Padron whores. :D

Well done!

Q: What's the difference between and "enthusiastic customer" and a "whore"...??

A: If you have more than six boxes of the brand in your coolers, you're a whore... :whistling:

Guess you know where I'm at......

I don't think the guys at Padron make a bad smoke; from the 2K to the high zoot anni's, 26's, etc....they are all well worth your time.

Cheers - B.B.S.

Yep, I'll try it for sure only if I'll have one ;)
Unfortunatelly Padrons are not popular in Europe at all, at least here in Poland.
And if someone know Padrons I dont know how many of them know about those anniversary editions, I think only guys who have some connection with US smokers. :)

Yes, yes I do! :)

Great review and pics Michal!!! One of my favorite cigars ever; the natural is pretty damn good too. B.B.S. is dead-on about being a great coffee cigar. Try some hot chocolate with it sometime as that is a great combo as well .

Well said, my friend!

Michal, check out this sampler near the bottom of the page: Padron Limited Edition Maduro 8-Cigar Sampler.

I've checked lots of stuff on Holts few months ago and was interested with some Ashton sampler if I remember well.
I've asked them about shiping and get info that unfortunatelly they do not ship outside US
I also have asked several other online shops and get the same answer.
Only Cigar.com was willing to help me with it, but I think they're a little overpriced
(for example MSRP for PAM Principle is 8$, right? and they sell it for 12$, so...)

Not a very good idea, IMO... you'll find your wallet much lighter afterward! My second experience with a PAM was with a mocha....hook got sunk deep

Now I've got to reach into my office humi and fire up a P2K.
