I Placed an order at the end of last week and spoke with Gabriel over the phone, he was quite helpful. I'll let you know when the cigars arrive if you'ld like.

Those prices all seem good for hard to get cigars. Right in line with msrp, plus it appears we now get a 10% discount!

I'm not familiar with the actual msrp on the LE5's, can anyone else confirm that one for me? It looks like a few folks have gotten their orders and are happy so far with the service.

I am not sure of the exact MSRP for the LE05, but I think that $12 is right on the money. I have paid between $12 and $12.50 for them.

The 10% discount is definately nice as well.
 
I went ahead and gave in to temptation. I'll let you all know how it turns out!
 
I placed an order late last week with Gabriel over the phone; very nice to chat with and I expect my cigars soon....I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes...

Shipping charges are based on service selected. We use FedEx as our carrier.
FedEx Ground rates are usually between $4 to $9 for a 2lb. package.

My shipping for 10 cigars sent via fed ex apparantly is $10.



edited to add: I checked on the fed ex website, and that is exactly what they are charging. Seems a little high to me, but then again I never use fed ex so I'm not sure. Also, I know there are pros and cons to shipping with fed ex so I'm sure there is a good reason that he's using them instead of USPS or anything else that is less expensive.
 
Gabriel deserves all the sales he can get.

His prices are good and we (CP) get an additional 10% off list price.

I'm very loyal to my vendors but are they loyal to me? One in particular -
I have been purchasing Padron's from for the past year. I email them to ask for a box of PAM #35 and 1964 M Exclusivo. It takes 6 days to get a reply stating they are updating their stocks and no follow up email, that was 3 weeks ago. This after spending several thousand $$$ with them. :angry:

Gabriel on the other hand, conducts his business far and beyond what is expected. He answers emails within hours and follows up with a phone call where necessary. I have ordered a few boxes from him that have arrived fast and fresh. He never had some sticks so I asked him to get back to me when he has them in stock. I had forgotten about these sticks, the phone goes and its Gabriel with my requests, 30 minutes later the cigars are on the way.

Business is about service and a fair deal, Gabriel provides both.

I think I've got some kind of Bad Karma thing going when it comes to these things! I've been reading about everyone else who's ordered already, and they all seem to have been very pleased and they have gotten their cigars in a couple days. So why don't I ever get that same thing! I spoke with Gabriel on the phone on Monday and ordered a handful of cigars. I finally got an email confirmation yesterday late afternoon saying that they were going out yesterday via fed ex and he gave me a confirmation number. The tracking number has finally started working today and the fed ex website states that it was picked up this afternoon at 11:22, and I should expect delivery on the 18th!

So despite everyone else's great experiences so far, it took two days to package up and send out 10 cigars to me, and although I have an email stating they went out yesterday, according to fed ex they didn't go out until today.

Can anyone throw me a bone here? Am I on some nationwide blackball list where my orders and phone calls get thrown to the bottom of the pile automatically?

Hopefully maybe they'll arrive early or something, and they'll be in great shape.

This is strange Andy! Only Gabriel can explain why they only went out today. If you have a delivery for the 18th then they had to be sent out ground.

Andy,

Your order was placed on Monday afternoon. It was processed on Tuesday mid day, so it missed our morning pickup. Unfortunately when the FedEx driver came yesterday, he did not take all the packages that were ready. He only took half, according to him he didn't see them all. When I called FedEx yesterday to get the driver back here, they said he was no longer in this area, but that they would send him back. I stayed an extra hour after the store normally closes and no driver. Thats why it was shipped today.

As for the 18th, you mentioned that ground service was fine. However, I did not expect Fed Ex Ground to take that long! I know certain cities get faster service which should not be the case but it is.

To make up for FedEx's problems, I will throw in a couple of extra cigars on your next order.

Don't worry your cigars will arrive fresh as I ship all cigars with humipacks.

i ordered a variety of sticks (10) from Gabriel and they were at my door in about 5 days, and in perfect condition with a humi-pack, he even sent them in and empty padron64 box. i was quite pleased with my order...Thanks Gabe!!!
 
Maybe I've been up too many hours today, but I went to the website and didn't see any stock to browse, only events, photos, and contact forms ???

Maybe I'm missing it, so if any of you fine peeps care to point me in the right direction?
