Setting: Right now..my front porch. Drizziling and gloomy. Temp low 60's. Listening to the John Sterling and Suzie Waldman's play by play (via MLB Audio).

Beverage: a big bup of frothy capuccino

Cigar: Padilla Signature 1932 Churchill. Dark, well constructed, solid looking cigar

Draw: Perfect

Taste: right of the bat, lotsa woody notes with a spicy finish. Flavor dancing around being delivered by thick white smoke. Every draw has that twang. If I had not known better, I would say this is a very nice full bodied ISOM!

Construction: perfect! Ash grayish white with a nice burn.

WOW! Hope you fellas are in the zone as I am. Now let me go back and enjoy :)

Best Joe

Dave, I gotta agree with your opinion of this one. I've smoked two of the torpedos so far and I'm in LOVE! I could smoke these everyday if I could afford it. Don Pepin Garcia is a Blending GOD!
Enjoy!

Between the Tat's, Pepin JJ's and the Padilla's, I am a certifiable Don Pepin Ho'! I've been on 4:1 ratio for a few weeks now. ISOM, what???? I hope I am not alone. :whistling:

Loved the Toro and Lancero......now to get my hands on a churchill!

Thanks for the review!

Smoked a lancero today.
Damn fine smoke but $15.95 NY prices...
OUCH!
Gotta say the Party Short and the Fonseca Cosaco I smoked after were just as good at a fraction of the price!

Rob,

If you look around they can be have for 7 to 9 bucks a piece. I miss you brother!

I've had the Padilla 8/11 lancero-what a very tasty smoke!

Nice review of a very good line of smokes. I love these 1932's just a bit more than the 8/11's.

Joe sounds like you have it rough out there! Nice combo except for the Yankee game, LOL. Miss you out this way you'll have to make the trip to the Schlessinger's herf.

Anthony, things are busy but very good here. I miss you guys! I will definetely going to give it my darnest to make it there for the Schlessinger (Quad State) herf.

Anyway, what the hell is a "winnie"?

thanks for the review...i just ordered a sampler of them. i had a robusto that was gifted to me and was very impressed with it a few months back.

Thanks for the tasting notes!

I almost got the Lancero, Rob, but decided on the Toro. The Churchill sounded very tempting, too! But I had already tried the Toro and liked it so I went with it. Great smoke but the wrapper on the ones in my box were much darker than on the one I had tried. I think the lighter wrapper was spicier, too.
