Big doin's at Harry's this weekend. They are working to get some info on their web page, here's the link: Harry's

It's a cigar store, they sell beer and there is also a coffee shop next door run by Harry's wife Shellie. I haven't been, but have heard good things.

Here's the deal. They are in a shopping plaza and the Interstate Battery store is having a car show on Saturday. Harry's is capping of the day with jazz band, tent in the parking lot and the usual specials and stuff.

Car show is from 9-5, the jazz band comes on at 7:00pm.

I'm thinking about dropping by...maybe we'll see you there.

Too bad I didn't see this thread till this morning cause they are pretty close to the house (about 15 miles) right off of 417. Not sure how the Jazz band went off cause we got some major rain about 4:30. Let us know if you went Joe and if you did get any pics, post away...... :thumbs:

I did stop by in the late afternoon, just before the rain. I stayed long enough for a beer and short smoke. Don't know if it rained or not during the band. I did get to meet the folks, Harry and Shellie run the place and Joe is the guy working the humidor. It is similar to Corona's...beer and wine, big screen TV. They have a walk in humidor (cigar selection is way smaller than Corona's). The place was nice, the people friendly. It's in the same strip mall with Staples, same parking lot as Home Depot off the 417 in Oviedo. I didn't get any pictures. A few guys from work go there, that's how I heard about it. I think they are doing a CAO event next month some time. I'll post when I can get the details.

Joe (jgohlke) contacted me the other day and let me know that Harry's is having a CAO cigar event this comin' Friday, 6-17-05. I plan on attending and I think a few other locals will be there as well. If your in the area, it would be great to meet you there for a ceegar and a couple of cold ones..... :thumbs:

Tonight's the herf, wooo hoooo. I called Harry's last night and they said that the event starts around 4:30 and the BBQ kicks off at 5:00. The Band starts playin' around 7:00 and they said that there will be give-aways the whole evening. I'll be there around 5 to 5:30 to get some BBQ and everything else. Hope to see all the can come..... :thumbs:

Just wanted to post the we had a great time. The band was outstanding, the atmosphere was excellent and the cigars were the top. David Cimino from CAO was handing out freebies and we talked cigars for a while enjoying a couple of cold ones and some great smokes..... :thumbs:
