Hey everyone,

Let's see if anyone's reading this section of the board.

I'm in town (DeBary, near Sanford) until Monday visiting my folks, and desperately need to get out and enjoy a cigar with someone who will appreciate it. I tried with my brother last night and today on the golf course, and he made it halfway through a Monte 4 and about 1/4 way through a Fonseca No. 1 before he "all cigarred out". So he's cut off.

I've heard and read about "Cigar Bar" in Lake Mary, as well as the Corona Cigar Co.

If anyone wants to meet up for cigars and cocktails let me know!

I believe I am going to head over to Corona Cigar Co. tonight, after I lay the little one down here at the Grandparents house. I'll be there puffing away if anyone happens to see this and head over there! And I'm fully up for heading over there pretty much any other night too.
 
Meet up with Lee, Gonz!!! He's a great guy!!! :thumbs:
 
Boy I wish I had seen this yesterday... :)

I have talked with Gonz and we are going to meet up hopefully sometime this week. I would talk with jgohlke too. He is in the area and loves to herf.
 
Hey, I'm finally catching on to this thread....Don't start without me!

How about Friday or (I almost said Saturday night...ooops that's my 23rd wedding anniversary...I guess I already have plans! ha, ha, ha)....Friday night? Since you are in Debary the Corona store in Lake Mary is closest.

I might could do Sunday, not sure what we are doing this weekend.

I will keep my eye on this thread to see when you all are meeting up. We are in the process of moving here soon so my schedule is pretty busy but I may be able to sneak away for a little bit based on when you all do it.
 
If it's Friday I would not be there until 9PM. Saturday would be 5PM. Sunday I may not be able to make it but would give it a shot definately. Tonight is fine as well and would be 6. Just let me know.

OK, I just read this thread after I sent some pm's out, so it looks like maybe Saturday night might not be the best, so how about Friday. Perhaps we could plan on meeting up at Corona in Lake Mary around 8:00 roughly, then DM could get there by 9?

I'll send another round of pm's to see if this works for everyone.
 
Tomm night sounds good. I think I'm going tonight too. Trying to be there around 6 or 7.
 
Last call! We're meeting up tonight at 8:00 over at Corona Cigar Co in Lake Mary. I talked to the folks at Corona and they are going to be donating 2 Opus X cigars to each member that shows up!

Ok all I can say is Gonz and HapaLee are two great guys who I had the pleasure of meeting and sitting down with to smoke a few Cigars, and have some great conversation. Me and Jgohlke have met up before in the past and he too is a great guy to herf with but this is the first time I have met Gonz and HapaLee so I wanted to mention them first. All Five of us (Mary jgohlke wife joined us) met at Corona last night and had the pleasure to listen to AVO play the piano and enjoy fine Padron 1926 #35 (Thank you Lee).

I look forward to the next time everyone can get together and herf again. I will more than likely be at every event Corona does except for the AVO birthday dinner (Still up in the air). Thanks again you guys and gal for a wonderful evening.

Brad- thanks for showing up last night! Had a good time meeting everyone, and listening to the guy on the piano ;) .... Andy, Joe & Mary (Happy Anniv)it was great meeting you all!
 
I'd just like to add that I had a great time meeting up with Joe and his wife, Brad and Lee. And getting to sit enjoying really good cigars while listening to Avo play the piano was even better!

Great cigars and great company!

For anyone else reading this, if you're in central FL you absolutely need to contact these guys and head over to Corona in Lake Mary!
 
We also had a great time. First time for my wife to attend (she smoked a Padron 1926 #6)...On the way home, I asked her how she enjoyed it and she said "Everybody seems nice, but it's a lot of cigar talk."...ha, ha, ha...she is still kind of amazed that I can meet good people over the internet. So am I actually.

It was fun meeting Lee and Andy...and listening to Andy talk about home, like the time it was 40 below... now that's funny! ... and then asking Lee and I how we liked "ice fishing"...The closest I've ever come to "ice fishing" is grabbing some fish sticks out of the freezer. :laugh: :laugh:

I managed to sneak back on Sunday afternoon by myself, for a smoke and a beer. I needed to pick up a few sticks for another CP'er and it was the perfect opportunity to just goof off in the middle of the day.
