Well... I've been hanging onto this baby for some time. Someone here gifted it to me some time ago, and I always hoped I'd get the opportunity to smoke it in their presence. Well... this past week that came true! The person came up to go fishing and see the state for a couple of weeks. And that person is.... nameless!! :laugh: No names unless that person comes forward hisself. But smoked on the deck of my sisters house in Homer. Mountains and glaciers in the background. A great day of halibut fishing. Awesome company. And an OpusX Maddie!!

But the cigar... oh LORD that cigar. Nice 2004 (I believe) OpusX Maduro.

Wow... must. find. more. As normal, my reviews suck. I cannot tell you it tasted like this and that. But this was a great cigar! Loads of smoke (I like that), tons of flavor, perfect draw (maybe a liiiiitle on the loose side), and a punch at the end that kept me awake for awhile. Yummy with a capital YUMMY!

If given the opportunity, I'll buy, trade, cheat, steal, or kill to get more of these!

we tried to call you while we were floating the Kenai River for king salmon but the cell coverage sucked.

Opus X and halibut and king salmon fishing...that is the stuff of great days! Count me among the most jealous here.
 
Life does not get much better than good friends, fishing and a Opus maddie very nice.
