First off, a big thanks to moki for providing me with some Opii. You da man!
Well, I had some friends over watching the Mayweather fight tonight and broke this baby out. It was beautifully constructed of course. Smelled awesome. It looked beautiful.. The great color of the wrapper.. The band.. It was nice and oily. I mean, you look at this and just know its a special cigar.
I clipped it and tested the draw. I might have clipped it a little much, probably should have punched it, but the draw was still good. That tate of the cigar itself was great before lighting up. I could have eaten the thing.
It burned perfectly and produced a surprising amount of smoke for a small cigar. Nice almost white ash that stayed very firm. The taste started off a bit spicy then seemed to mellow. I think the cigar got better the whole time I smoked it until I finally was burning my fingers and had to stop. I gotta remember to get a roach clip before my next one. The taste was great. I'm not good at describing these things but it reminded me a lot of a Hemingway. I find the hemingways to be a bit over powering on the spice sometimes, this was like the taste of a hemingway but smoother and creamier. It wasn't nearly as strong as I expected it to be, or perhaps it was, but it was so smooth that it was ok, unlike the infamous Joya De Nicuragua that knocked me out last week.
