Opus X in Asheville

Sooooooooo This weekend my band ( www.biggerthandallas.com ) had a show in the hills of Asheville NC. I used to smoke a pipe regularly before I got into Cigars, and I have a very good collection. I remembered about a cool pipe shop that I used to go to in Asheville whenever I played there in the past, so I stopped by thinking they would probably have a humidor room of some sort. BINGO. They had a small, but very effective room filled with lots of premium smokes. We have a very nice place here in Chattanooga...it's bigger, but sometimes I get frustrated because I can only get what they have. This place in Asheville had alot of smokes I can't get in Chatt-town, so I figured I'd drop a few bucks for the variety. The guy behind the counter said "hey man, I see you are into premium smokes" because I had some decent sticks picked out. so I said "yeah man...got any opus?" He smiled and pulled out two lock boxes from behind the counter FULL of Opus X of all sorts. Anyway, He said that I could buy four of any kind or one of each (they had six varieties.)They were limiting the number that you could buy so that everyone could have some. So I got all six varieties plus a couple of Gurkha's for 80 Bucks. The Opus averaged less than 12 bucks a stick. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone who happens through the area. The name of the store is PipesLTD. and they are located in the Asheville mall.
