Tonight I finally fired up one of the "A" size Opus X that EmoDx was nice enough to arrange a group buy for a few of us last month. These cigars are 9 1/4" long with a ring of 48.
Construction: Almost perfect construction and appearance
Pre light draw: A nice "Havana-like" draw, not too firm yet not too loose.
Burn: Very even burning cigar until the last three inches or so where it didn't want to stay lit. I actually did not finish this cigar.
Taste: This cigar was milder than all the other Opus X's I've smoked but was a very pleasant smoke. If these were as strong as the regular Opus X, they might be too strong due to the size of this cigar.
Finish: I didn't finish it I tossed it with about 2 1/2" left.
Cost: These cigars average about $30.00 which make them pretty pricey :0
Overall this was a very good cigar, my problem with not finishing it may have been attirbuted to the fact I was distracted watching the end of the Illinois/Arizona basketball game (what a fantastic finish for the Illini   ) and kicking some a$$ in set back with some of my high school buddies and my brother,
On a cA rating scale, I would give this cigar a
91
