My local shop has 6 sizes!! He is only selling 2 perperson {MSRP}!! I am trying to get a few of my friends to go down with me on monday to grab a bunch! Will keep ya posted!!

That is good new Joe. One of the shops around me had a box of the Robustos out and they had the same policy, 2 per person. The next day I went back they were all gone but he had a box of the petite lanceros. So, I was forced to pick up a couple of them..... I will put a couple of em' in the "I'm gettin' Married Pass". :thumbs:

Geeze, the sin tax is high out there. Looks like Key West prices. This is why I don't buy them. Along with the fact that VSG's are cheaper and Opus tend to be too strong for my liking.

If you think those prices are out of whack come to good ole Washington starting prices are $18 to $20 a stix for Opus Uuuugleeeee ??? Actually had one of the local Tinder Boxes go out of business because everyone buys out of state or on the internet. Ouch ??? too bad it was a great to sit down have a drink and enjoy a smoke.

Hawaii isn't far behind... We have a 40% tobacco tax here and most of the Opus sold in shops have been purchased at retail so you can imagine the prices! There's one shop in particular that sells the Fuente Fuente size for $45 each but he isn't an authorized dealer and he isn't getting my business... LOL!

Still no sign of Opus in WV. Hopefully next week.

I'm very fortunate here, only 7 percent tobacco tax that started about a year ago, before that it was 0%. At least I can still afford to support my local shop without breaking the bank!
