Here is a link to the Glen Goyne 16yr Shiraz Cask Single Malt Scotch. Be sure to use the Facebook discount to get an additional discount: http://www.shoppersvineyard.com/store/pc/Shoppers-Vineyard-Friday-Spirits-eLetter-d29.htm

Oooh man I wish I could swing this price right now but I just cant. Anyone who orders this let me know how it is! It definitely sounds intriguing and really good.

I believe that there are 3800 numbered bottles produced but you do have the best price on it I've seen.

I saw the same thing. I spoke to the importer, Shaw Ross, and they claim 140 6-pack cases. Unfortunately, I can only go by what they tell me.

A simple way to find out is look and see if any of your bottles are numbered higher than 840 (140 x 6) If one is then there has to be more than 140 cases and most likely the 3800 number is then correct.

Ray...what do you think of this bottle? I'm not a fan of the heavily peated scotches and do enjoy a more fruity, sweeter dram at times. Thanks.

I'm not particularly a Shiraz/Syrah fan to begin with so my opinion of this is already biased. It does have a great nose with hints of orange citrus, oak and caramel but the taste is more spicy and less fruity then the nose would have you believe and the finish was a little drying.

Now mind you that I don't own this and I only got to try it one time under less then ideal conditions so YMMV

Me either, of all the red wines out there, that's one that doesn't hit my taste buds quite right. I was hoping it brought a different dimension to this scotch that would be a little unique, unlike the wine itself.

Thanks for your insight.

According to your site 140 cases were produced.
Correct. I didn't look at the subject line before I posted. My mistake. I was told 140 cases were produced.

Just stop in and give it a try. I have an open bottle. :D

Everything I have is in the 500's. The bottles are numbered, but unfortunately they don't give the total number of bottles.
