Well I just received my order from The Cigar Hut (www.cigarsforless.com) and the bottom tray of my box had split cigars. I ordered a box of Carlos Torano Reserva Selecta Robusto which come in glass tubes. The bottom tray which carries 10 sticks, 6 of them had split heads that were beyond repair. :angry:

I immediately sent them an email to see how they plan on handling this. Hopefully they will take care of it. I will keep you all posted, but I just wanted to inform you all on my experience in case you all plan on dealing with them. And I am not saying to avoid them (yet anyways) but I feel they don't take very good care of their smokes. Just my opinion from seeing this. :(
 
Hopefully, they'll make good on this for you. Most reputable online vendors are pretty good about taking care of issues such as these.

Bad news travels a lot faster than good news, and they know that. It's a good bet you'll be taken care of, if not, call your CC company and b*tch :rolleyes:
 
Thanks BD... I still have not heard back from them but then again, it is the weekend :) Hopefully tomorrow I will and I will post the resolve here. Thanks for the advice.
 
I hope this works out well for you. I wish the online dealers paid more attention or realized how much business can be gained or lost as a result of these boards.
 
I had this happen with a vendor. They sent out a new box immediately and included a return shipping label. I did not have to pay a dime and it was a very smooth process.
