I have two tat blacks that have been waiting to be burned. Nice looking cigar with a shaggy foot. Brown wrapper exudes a nice construction and good feel to the hand. Pre-light draw was perfect.

Lighting the foot and taking a couple of draws made me a little nervous. This may need more time to rest. My fears were soon displaced after half an inch. The flavor of tobacco and leather fill the nice thick smoke from every draw! A third of the way a nice woody flavor became the dominant taste. What a relaxing smoke. Ash was white and the burn was flawless. Nubbed the cigar while taking a nice walk around the neighborhood.

Thank you to the MPLS crew for the jar split! Lovely smoke, highly recommended!

Best,

Joe

Interesting way of putting it Joe, well done!
Hope to find some as well

Certainly a great crew MPLS!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I've been hesitant to light one up, since some people have recomended letting them sit for a few months. I take it these are from the second release (since they were in a jar), so sounds promising.

Nice work Joe, glad to hear you had a good experience with them.

Thanks guys!

The wood flavor was not as aromatic (if I may) compared to and RyJ Churchill. Nice combo of flavors though.
