And lo, on the 2nd day of July, in the two-thousand and tenth year of our Lord, the craft beer Gargoyle of Stone Brewing gave unto us the Stone 14th Anniversary Stone Imperial IPA. And several of his followers ventured to the nearby BevMo, purchased several bottles for $5.99, and were glad. The stock there was plentiful, as it is around many of the enchanted BevMo stores in the world, and several Stone geeks found fellowship with one another over the joy of this monumental release. Many came together to gather up several bottles of this fine nectar, but feelings of hatred, compassion, and camaraderie were mixed inside all of us. Hatred because we all wanted this beer to ourselves, but compassion and camaraderie knowing that the other would not waste this gift from the Stone Lord on other fizzy-yellow-beer wussies who would only abuse and spew out the beer in exchange for drinking a lukewarm Coors Light.
Clocking in at 8.9% ABV and 100 IBUs, the recipients of such a magical beer shall experience the warm fuzzies and bitter aftertaste of such a hoppy and alcoholic brew!
Stone Beer Geeks REJOICE!
(full review by the Stone boys here, with none of my stupid fawning...)
