Decided to change things up tonight and smoked a Serie V torp on my balcony overlooking beautiful Mission Bay and the Pacific. Started out smooth with hints of chocolate and earth. The ash was nice and white and the cigar had an ok draw. Had to clip down a few times to get it right. Nice even burn all the way through. The second 1/3 devolped a nice spice to it along with some subtle nuances of nuts and black licorice. The spice was nice and not too over powering. The last 1/3 of the cigar is where the falor really started to shine. The spice mellowed out and the chocolate and black licorice were very evident. Once again the burn continued very nicely. Started to get down to the nub when the air temp dropped int the low 60's and I started to get cold. It was a great cigar from a fresh box that will be even nicer with some more age on it. It was a great way to end a crappy start to the week.

These are my cocaine of recent. I am a huge fan of the double toro, and have recently gotten ahold of some of the figurado, so I am looking forward to trying them as well.

You Bastid! So your why I can't get my hands on any of the figurados!!! lol I just bought a box of the lanceros myself. I can't wait to try one.

I was gifted a torp a couple of months ago and smoked it then. Was a very enjoyable smoke with a tight white ash and good spice. In some ways reminded me of a Don Pepin. For the price, I think these are a no brainer and have them on my list of boxes to purchase soon.

The V is by far one of my favorite smokes. I bought a box of robusto's about a month back and they are sitting in my humi to get some age on them, but I find myself dipping into it at least once per week.

I have several torps also sitting in one of my desktops and a couple of the double toros but those things are just so large i am waiting for a free few hours to knock them off

Well I couldn't find them at all, then a BOTL on here gifted me one. When I went to the B&M a week later they had a few left so I bought what they had.

I'm a fan of the smaller ring gauges as of late, so I prefer the lancero over the others, but with this line you really can't go wrong. It's just a great smoke!

Are these the Oliva sun grown? or is that the Serie S? I've got my Olivas all mixed up.

I just nabbed a box of the Oliva V torps from http://fumeeworld.com/estore and I can't wait 'till they come in!

Just finished a torpedo it was very good the second half of the cigar the wrapper built up a very oily sheen. I found it to be a little strong towards the end but I am sure some age would help. I really enjoy the Series V Belicoso.

Gotta go out to walmart to get some stuff, guess I'll stop off at the B&M and see what they have

I love this cigar. Have a box of them in my humi.

Just had a torp last night (Thanks Jonesy!) Was delicious as have all the V's I have had. I must try to get my hands on a lancero as that is the one I have not tried and the one everyone keeps talking about. But any box really will be great :)
