Decided to change things up tonight and smoked a Serie V torp on my balcony overlooking beautiful Mission Bay and the Pacific. Started out smooth with hints of chocolate and earth. The ash was nice and white and the cigar had an ok draw. Had to clip down a few times to get it right. Nice even burn all the way through. The second 1/3 devolped a nice spice to it along with some subtle nuances of nuts and black licorice. The spice was nice and not too over powering. The last 1/3 of the cigar is where the falor really started to shine. The spice mellowed out and the chocolate and black licorice were very evident. Once again the burn continued very nicely. Started to get down to the nub when the air temp dropped int the low 60's and I started to get cold. It was a great cigar from a fresh box that will be even nicer with some more age on it. It was a great way to end a crappy start to the week.
