Sorry to all you Mets fans, but I just watched the Braves completely own it against arguably the best pitcher in the National League Johan Santana.

I am feeling pretty good.

Phillies fan here, so absolutely no sympathy for the Mets. Glad they got owned in the division.

Arguably would be the key word there ;)

Not really sure that the Braves "own it" against Johan Santana, I do not think He gave up one single run(due to errors) and still got the lost. Mets D was terrible IMO. Mets Bull pen didn't help out as well. I am happy Mets lost, but I have much respect for Johan Santana so I am just sticking up for him. (In case he comes on here and sees your post  :sign: )

I've been a Braves fan and a Mets fan for longer than I care to say, but the bottom line for me is at least it is National League and the pitchers have to hit and the managers have to manage!

Really? You guys get a different game feed down there? Or are you just checking the box score like so many Braves fans often do. Because they sure as hell don't go to the games.

I actually had Derek Lowe and Johan Santana both starting on my fantasy so I know how good Santana is, but errors or not dude gave up 14 hits to my Braves.

My fondest memory of Santana was when he played with the Twins.

It was the White Sox vs Twins.

Freddy Garcia vs Johan Santana. Garcia throws a 1 hitter and loses 1-0 (walk , steal, base hit). Santana throws a 1 hitter for the win.

Glad he is now in the NL.

Santana gave up 1 run in 6+ innings plus another 1 when the bullpen came in. Johan had 6 Ks while you're whole pitching lineup had 3 altogether. Are you sure we watched the same game?
