This really isn't a review but just wanted to share....
Sat night I started with a Padilla 1932 Signature Torpedo. Wonderful smoke, enjoyed it immensely.
I followed it up with a Perdomo Reserve Maduro Torp. This was one of the older ones from when they still did the red cello. Had to be at least a year on it, maybe more.
Holy Moly!!
Now, I've had many of these in the past but this was not only rich and flavorful but it smoked so perfectly. It was pure pleasure all the way down, start to finish. Far and away the best cigar I've smoked in several weeks. Funny thing is I know this wasn't supposed to be the best cigar I've had lately, it just turned out that way.
I guess what I'm saying is, it's just so much fun when you hit on that "real gem" that exceeds your expectations so much you are just blown away by it.
I just had to share with someone who might understand what I'm trying to say.
