I lit up my first CoRo  out a box I recently scored--JUL04. I do not know if I lucked out or what, but it was ON! Complex smokes with flavors dancing around and abound. Pepper taste, spice, leathery, cedar and a few others I can't pin down. The smoke was nice and thick and the ash was dark gray--almost black. The burn was consistent and not fussy.

In a word-WOW! :)

I have originally taken 4 out for my humi. I gifted one and smoke this one. That leaves me with 2, with the rest in my coolerdor. What are the Vegas odds that I can keep myself from "stealing" from my coolerdor? I have intended to smoke about 5 of this a year and with patience get some aged CoRos out of this batch---it's going to be very difficult I tell ya! :whistling:

Very excellent cigar. I smoke a cple 04 over the weekend. And they were definately on! Great volumes of smoke and very creamy .. luckily i put the other box in deep storage.

If they are that good I wouldn't be to concerned about 'stealing' from you cooledor.

Enjoy what you have. You can always buy more 04's later.

Good stuff, Sirius. Thanks for the review. And I'd move the Coolerdor away from windows, and you better sleep with one eye open. :D

enjoy 'em

Ahhh, CoRo

one of my top 5! Glad the mailman was nice to me today... :whistling:

Please forgive the newbie. I've googled and searched this forum already–what's a CoRo?

Thanks

Oh, the Cohibas...actually yeah, they suck. In reality, CoRo stands for Columbian Rounds. They are hand rolled cigars from columbia and uh, they are round...they are REALLY hard to find...but they're good.

Ha ha. Okey dokey then. More for you guys to suffer through, right? :p

I did the same thing yesterday to celebrate a new position that I will be taking on at work. Nubbed it down to 3/8 of an inch, stood up and realized how much it kicked my ass. What a great smoke, started as medium bodied and ended up as a full bodied smoke. The finish was what I thoroughly enjoyed from it. Woke up at 3 am and I still had hints of its finish on my palate. Definitely one of my favorite robustos.
