So, I make it a habit to always ask at my local B&M about Anejo and Opus.

Today the owner was finally in and she says you can't get Opus this side of the Mississippi!?

I thought that odd but left it at that.

I did find some Oliva Serie V maduro's though and grabbed a couple. Was contemplaing lighting one up being we're pushing 50 degree's here today!

I have lots of Opus X and they where all acquired on this side of the Missippi from a trusted B&M that sells them to me for just a hair over MSRP. Keep trying you will find some :).

SOunds like your B&M doesn't have an Opus account. They can have a Fuente account and not an Opus account. Look up B&M in your area here and then call them and ask if they have an Opus account.

That's a new one.

I know a guy online in Fargo who manages to find 'em. Me, I have to make the five hour drive to Austin.

That's pretty intense I don't know if I could do that. I am not a car person whatsoever. I think I'm just lucky that I have a couple of shops within 30 minute drive.

I find it easier to get in on fiver sales and such online. But I do have a friend in Austin, so I make it a point to stop by Heroes & Legacies when I'm up visiting her, and nab a fistful.

That's a heck of a cigar shop, H&L. Nice lounge, and there's a 2nd walkin humidor inside the main humidor where all the premium, high end boxes are . . . except for the Opus X, which are in an enormous free standing glass-topped humidor out front. Size of a bedroom chest of drawers, and looked to be solid mahogany with Spanish cedar lined everything. BBMFs and such under the glass, and locked single layer drawers for everything else---sales guy comes over, unlocks a drawer, slides it out so you can see the row of xXx's or Super B's or FFOX's, each nestled in its own little niche. Feels like you're buying jewelry!

That used to be the case a few years ago, however, that has long since changed. What side of the river is Las Vegas?

I can't find any X's an I'm east of the Mississippi (VA). Am I not looking hard enough?

Stick around. You'll see them on here. I hail from CA, and the only B&M that has them usually has one or two boxes of xXx's and #2's at one time in the year and has a limit of two total per customer, and they're far above MSRP. The only other one is a B&M that's an hour and a half from me.

Like I said, stick around here and you'll find them. Just patience.
