I recently picked up an additional 120 qt. marine (all white) cooler for $47 at WalMart.

I already had one exactly like it and I like the way it works. I have it set up so that it sits on it's back and the door (lid) opens forward and down which gives me a nice shelf to place things while I rearrange or pull out a few sticks.

I guess I should figure out how to post a picture.

My first picture........thanks beaucredo.

A couple more pics: Sorry for the mess, I am finishing my basement and the coolidor has been relegated to an out of the way corner.

I built a stand that would allow the lid, when open, to lay on the table for stability.

The lid acts as a shelf and has the layout of the coolidor and inventory data taped to the inside. I did this because some of my cigars are not in their original boxes. They often get put into nicer cedar boxes that fit in the coolidor better.

Nicely done, CStone. Very clean setup.

The 48-50 qt Coleman coolers I favor seem to be in short supply right now. I see some at the local Safeway but at $30 is a bit steep. In season, these can be had for less than $20. I guess the main reason I like the smaller coolers is that I can stack them and move them around without much strain. Space is tight in the basement. If I had the room to lay out a few large coolers in semipermanent locations, I'd go with a big marine cooler too,

I like the idea of smaller coolers. Moving those two 120 qt. units has been a pain while doing the finshing job in the basement. Plus I like the idea of better a "filing" system for different sticks.

While 120qt coolers work well for our needs I can't imagine trying to move one if it was actually used for its intended purpose. How much do you think one of those would weigh filled with ice and beer ???

I do like they way you have that set up and if I ever run out of room I'll have to consider that.

I use the same setup, except i think mine has like 2x the boxes crammed in so i don't have to buy another..... Once I do, i'll have to fill that one too, what a vicious circle.

I got my 48qt. colemans at Target for 16.99 each.

Ohhh,

Looks like two things I need to go to Target for tomorrow. Thanks

I got mine for the same price at Wal Mart.

I'd love to have one of the 120's, but having the two 48's is an effective way to cap my spending. When they're full, I don't buy more cigars!

Nice setup, CS!

Picked up the same 120qt cooler yesterday!

A quick rinse, slapped the beads in and she's already purring along at 65%.

Threw 4-5 boxes in this morning and two cedar trays. Life is good!

I think those might be the book edition humidors being offered on the Altadis products by JR Cigars and Holts.

The books are "Library Edition" Temple Hall The Odyssey It has been my favorite every day cigar for years. It's also nice to have common size boxes in the coolidor........I wish I hadn't given away those four empties.

JR and Mikes and a few others, I have seen, carry the entire line of Library Edition.
