While I'm stuck at home recovering, the wife has taken to having random gifts delivered to the house for me.

Here's yesterdays...clicky clicky clicky.

So has anyone used/liked Nibo lighters? I'm liking this one so far. The included cutter is small for what I smoke, but the lighter itself is sound. I'm happy with it so far.

I do not have any info on that particular model, but I did have one of the ghetto looking three jet dealies with the punch on the bottom. I left that one in my shop, it worked great but was dropped a few too many times.

All I know is the three jet model will light a stogy fast as hell, and gets about five smokes per fill. I would say it was great for the $14 I paid from cheaphumidors.com.

I have a Nibo and it is a pretty servicable lighter.

I have 2 of the 3 jet type with the punch on the bottom that AKmik is referring to. They started out kinda shotty, but after I got them broke in they work great. They will light even the thickest cigar very fast. Don't expect much in the way of customer service from Nibo though. One of the jets fell out of one of my lighters the day after I got it. I sent several emails to Nibo and never got a reply. Luckily I found the jet and was able to replace it. Descent lighters, but you get what you pay for.

I have this one. I didn't care much for the punch until I found myself without a cutter. I usually score and lift, but this has kept me from using more vulgar techniques more than once. Works well and is a great option for the price.

From what I gathered she got it well below normal msrp, ebay I think, so it won't be a huge loss if it decides to crap out on me.

I have this one too. The triple jet doesn't so much light a cigar as it does blast it into submission. Don't use it to touch up a bad burn! It mostly just carves straight through the leaves like an arc welder.

I've had a few Nibos and loved them. My first I LOVED, but clogged it using Ronson fuel. :(

I actually carry a few Nibo lighters and am thinking of dropping them. I have not had much luck with getting them to last long. They work well when they work, but they sort of fall apart pretty easily (flip cover doesn't stay closed, have to asjust the flame all the time, etc).
But, they are pretty cheap and not bad for an extra lighter.

Got one too. Mine still works pretty well. Use good butane (I use King triple filtered) and purge the tank before filling (as you should with all good quality lighters) and you should have a very serviceable lighter.

Have fun - B.B.S.

Yup. Duel flame. Working in a cigar store I use it every day, all day. I blow the jets out once in a while and clean burners with Q Tip and rubbing alcohol.
Seems to last about a year with constant use.
