Good for them for doing something, but ya that’s just putting more lipstick on the pig. Besides that, still a coaches decision, and not an ownership one.Fired their DB coach today. Seems like more of a scapegoat than anything that will actually have an impact.
I think Campbell and Holmes have it headed in the right direction. As much as I agree with Jeff on some of his opinions on Tomlin, I also think there is something to be said for consistency vs blowing it up and starting over every few years. I like the culture he's building, and the team is competitive despite lacking talent, especially on defense. While turn arounds can happen quickly in the NFL, I hope they give the current group enough time before starting over yet again.Good for them for doing something, but ya that’s just putting more lipstick on the pig. Right now, ownership should be handing over a blank check driven in a Ford Raptor to Sean Payton. They should attach it to a contract that he has to write. They need someone with some success to give it a shot, because it’s not working and it hasn’t in a long time.
I don’t necessarily disagree. However you can’t keep hiring subpar talent while expecting above average results.I think Campbell and Holmes have it headed in the right direction. Pete and his staff have done an incredible job. I haven't had this much fun watching the Hawks in years. How about those Hawks!! Pete Carroll for coach of the year
I agree, I'm guessing Glenn will be gone. If he makes it to next year, it will be Campbell's last if they don't show something.I don’t necessarily disagree. However you can’t keep hiring subpar talent while expecting above average results.
And I’m not saying they don’t have heart or they aren’t trying as hard as they can. But that only gets you so far.
And now they trade hockenson. Which I mean, they never seemed to use him to his full talents so good for them, but still.
You would think for a guy still on his rookie deal they could have got more than a couple bump ups in the draft, but I don’t know what the conditional part is all about for one of the picks.
I can't understand why anybody that has paid attention to Claypool's time in Pittsburgh would want Claypool. Malcontent that had never consistently produced, and also bonehead plays on the field. This is pretty big, for the Bears.
The Chicago Bears are acquiring wide receiver Chase Claypool in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, a source told ESPN's Field Yates on Tuesday. The Bears are getting a second-round pick in return, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 2020 second-round pick has caught 32 passes for 311 yards and a touchdown for the Steelers this season.
He would have been huge, for the Packers right now. But no, the Packers just sit back and watch as usual. WTF.
Boat loads of raw talent! But with a head coach who believes players should be allowed to be what they want to be, despite the fact that they are immature, uneducated, divas, it could be a good move for Chicago in the long run.I can't understand why anybody that has paid attention to Claypool's time in Pittsburgh would want Claypool. I like Hockenson, but they never used him like they should, he's been injured a lot, and I don't they were going to extend him, do glad they got something for him.
Crazy trade deadline was fun!
Yeah, I could see it working out, but would bet on it not.Boat loads of raw talent! But with a head coach who believes players should be allowed to be what they want to be, despite the fact that they are immature, uneducated, divas, it could be a good move for Chicago in the long run.

I dont think Claypool can play QB?I think the Packers still should have taken a chance. Hell, we took a chance on Sammy Watkins and that hasn't worked out AT ALL.
I agree, would have made way more sense for the Packers, but I just don't think he's that good.I think the Packers still should have taken a chance. Hell, we took a chance on Sammy Watkins and that hasn't worked out AT ALL.
I could be wrong but I think Claypool tuned a corner last year with the stupid shit. After the celebration that cost them a chance to win, he has been more of a team player.I agree, would have made way more sense for the Packers, but I just don't think he's that good.
I’m throughly convinced the gm of the packers is dumb. I’d say stronger words but he is making the lions look good at this point, and I don’t have the energy.
Watson, Cobb, Lazard hurt. Watkins being Watkins, mvs and adams gone.
Let’s not even try and get a wr..
Dallas offered the same and for the same reason the offer was declined... Let the games begin for Beckham Jr.Agreed, but I just saw this. No idea how much truth is behind it, but thought it was interesting:

We’d be better off at this point, shoring up our OL. If Rodgers can’t even drop back and have time to find someone 5 yards downfield, it doesn’t matter who he has running routes.
