As some of you know I enjoy doing little fun runs in the distance of 5K, 10K, and 5 milers. However I convinced the wife, brother in-law and sister in-law to join in on this years NH 10 Miler. It circles a lake in Southern NH that is a very windy and hilly set of scenic roads. I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried since the furthest we have ran is 8 miles and that was basically flat! Tomorrow I hope to stay in the area of 13:00 min miles but really just want to complete. So wish me luck the race starts at 9am EST and if completed you know I'll be pulling something nice out of the humi!

Run Paul, Run!  Good luck and stick to your plan and you will be fine.  Then enjoy your rewards for all your hard work.

Keep on trucking Paul. I don't really post too much personal shit here on CP outside of cigars and beer, but I really do love to run as well. I did my last 5k Saturday (The Dirty Dash) I can't tell you how much freaking fun it was.

Here's a few pic's from the event

Good luck! Hope it's not in the 100's with high humidity like it is down here in So Cal.

Good luck Paul. I've got a half marathon I'm supposed to be training for in Feb.

You guys heard of Hash? (No not that kind.) I've never done it, honestly probably never could at this point, but it always sounded like a riot of a good time. Those pics made me think of it Jason.

They call me Stogie Gibberish. I haven't been on a hash run in several years though.

Thank you for all the well wishes!
Finishers mug baby! WE DID IT! My wife and I ran side by start to finish and came in at 2 hours 7 min. the course was Extremely hilly to say the least. Man what a great feeling to cross that finish line. 10 miles is our new furthest run. Next stop a half marathon!
