Hello guys and gals,
I have been reading here and on the net about plans for building a humidor. So far this has been a good source of info with photos as well. I am wishing to do something different to say the least. I would like to start with cherry wood ( not set on that) and dovetail the edges then router them down to a 1/4 round on the edges. I wish to router the top and add another type of wood for an inlay or just add a ribbon for looks. It will hold approx 300-400 flavorful delights. I wish to make it look like its quite a few years old to go with the bar I am going to build in the basement of the house I plan to buy.
My question is: does anyone have suggestions on different wood combos that would look killer for this? When it comes to matching things I am not to good.
