In my opinion he needs to be hit back because he just cant get away with this.

ETA - If by "meeting up and discussing it" you mean enjoying a cigar and a beer or other libation, I would be all for that (I would even drive out to your local lounge, or smoking spot). If you are meaning to beat me with a bat, then I would have to respectfully decline.
