Newb Humidor purchase, input...please.

For the purposes of this site I am a newb. 10 year smoker...but I have never stored more than 20-25 cigars at a time. I have a very small desktop unit and a tupperdor as of now. I have read many posts about the humidors out there and frankly I am more than a little scared to take the plunge. I would like to have approx 100 singles and around 10-15 box storage as well. Any reccomendations are welcome. And not the cooler is not an option. I am looking for something that will work in a den as a furniture piece or at least not be as glaring as a big cooler in the floor. The Vinotemp is certainly an option from reading many posts. They also seem to be within my budget $250 to $300 ballpark. I know there is a lot out there and I do not want to buy junk! Please offer feed back, and thanks in advance.

I've got this one and I'm very happy with it. i would've liked a bigger singles drawer but that's me nitpicking. It may be larger than what you're looking for but the price definitely fits the bill. Linky

As I am prepping for a purchase of a Vino I would say without doubt to go that route. Not only do you get the space but you can also independently control the temperature to ensure you don't have any problems with beatles. Welcome to CP, and as grateful said, search is your best friend on this site. Type in "Vinotemp" and you will get a plethora of threads to read.

I just got my Vino today and I would say go that route if you can get a good deal on one. Plenty of space (for now) and the temp control is a must for the summer.

I'm not sure how good these are, but cigarbid.com always has a good selection of larger humidors such as towers and tables at low prices. Try looking there too.

Just got a Diamond Crown for a present today,it is den furniture for sure!They are highly regarded but I am just seasoning it now...

Thank you to all that have responded...is vinotemp the best brand, the brand of preference, are there other brands of this type cooler to consider, and most importantly can MTmouse make the shelves/drawers for them?
