New York Herf 7/16

Just want to guage interest here. Smoked a couple with Charlie tonight and decided to try to plan a tri-state herf.

How many would be interested in a herf at Schlesingers 7/16, next Saturday starting at around 3:00? Their small but respectable cigar shop will be open, the bar opens at 4:30 but they have a nice large outdoor patio we could use until the bar opens.

It was my pleasure meeting Tom (hudsonvalley) last night and as a welcome smoke to NY, he gifted me a Vegas Robaina - Unicos http://www.cigarsofhabanos.com/detail.asp?ItemId=17012 which I enjoyed very much. I explained to Tom that it was the identical cigar Frank (Big100HD) gifted me when I arrived in Leesburg, VA last last on my journey from Sunny Central Florida. Well enough about last night, let's get back to the herf. I talked with the wifey and she said that the only thing we have planned for next Saturday the 16th is a graduation party for a good friend that starts at 2:30. I'll hang out there for a bit and I'll be showing up around 4:00. I'll post the herf on a few other cigar boards, ie. Cigar Family, Cigar Chat, RNBs, etc..... Hope to see some of you other folks there and Joe, I'm sure that you will be there in spirit as you smoke one of your favorites on your back deck..... :D :thumbs: :p
 
Looks like a nice place. Not sure if I'm going to make the trip, but we need to get Stogieman down to smoke with the NYC/LI crowd another day!
 
I have to see what I got going on the 16th.
Tom is this the same place we herf at with Bo.

Yes, but let's just say we start at 4 since Charlie can't make it till then anyway. Not a bad place to smoke a cigar. Hope to see some tri-staters there.
You could just drop your significant mother at Woodbury Commons and have a smoke :p

Would love to come, but we are moving our daughter to UPenn this weekend. Looks like a very nice place. Have fun!

Well it was great for me and Charlie in that we touched base and smoked. But it was such short notice we did not get much participation. But what I am thinking is once summer is over and football starts maybe a 1 to 4 Sunday herf with the bar all to ourselves in the bar as a private CP party room since it doesn't open till 4:30 anywho. Will keep you posted. Have to check on prices and availability.
