I just added our newest Weekly 12 special. This week I picked out six Robusto (or near Robusto) sized cigars and six of their Lancero counterparts. It's a great way to see what the ring gauge does to a blend.

I picked one up just b4 my vacation. This one is
tempting, but Holt's High Noon Special got me today.

Samplers like Eric's 12 are the only way I can justify buying
some high end cigars, since I can go by average cost per cigar,
rather than retail for each cigar.

Next time I order from Eric I want my Free Matches!

So Ken, the shipping guy from Schwartz, will make sure Ken, the shipping guy from a major online book retailer, will get his damn matches.

Ken and I both worked our way here from the cigarbid forum where not getting matches was a "thing". This is a much better forum, of course, and we never do anything that silly here at CPass. :laugh:

The only reason I mentioned matches was because of Eric's
email addy. I didn't even notice the lack of matches for a few
days after receiving my sampler. I think I got the Lancero
sampler, too. But Eric was out of San Cristobal lanceros
at the time. I still need to try them. Soon...

We did have the Kenny's 12 deal a while back. I couldn't think of anything to put up so I asked Ken what he had been smoking lately. The funny thing is I've been working here for over eight years now and have never seen Ken smoke a cigar. I see him packing up some goodies to bring home with him all the time but have never seen him smoke anything other than a Marlboro 100. When I asked what he had been smoking he starts naming these awesome cigars and then started telling me about the flavor and construction. Good ol' Kenny. This guy is our link to the past, he actually worked for Jack Schwartz for two or three years before Jack passed away.


I never knew matches could cause such a commotion. I thought it was only Limited Edition Tatuaje's that caused civil unrest.

The new Litto Gomez Diez Vintage Lanceros are here. These are 2010 Vintage using tobaccos from Litto's farm that were harvested in 2006. They look amazing. I can't comment on the flavors, we only received five boxes with this first shipment so I won't smoke one until I'm sure all our orders have been filled.
