I'm not saying it wont work...but is there a point to having wine + cigars together? Wouldn't you want your wine colder than 65-70* (Whatever you have your vinotemp set at)?

Edit to add: Are those red wines in there? I guess that would make more sense then.

Yup, all reds except for that one zif in there. Good red wines age just like cigars and enjoy the same conditions :D . I condensed them together for now because I am moving shortly otherwise they would be in their own space.

I did the same thing with my new Vinotemp. There were two reasons: 1) The wine in there will still be cooler (during the summer) than it was sitting on my wine rack. Most of what I have is red, but there are a couple of whites, too. If the white is going to get opened, it will go in the fridge in plenty of time to get it colder. 2) (and most importantly) The only way I could convince the wife it was a necessary purchase was by saying we needed to protect the wine, too. :D

Bingo. That's how I got mine, too. Delivered yesterday. Just unpacked it today. Seems to be working just fine.

Wow! Is there no end to the valuable ideas from CP? You guys just gave me the perfect rationale to buy a Vinotemp!
