I was at the local B & M thinking about how to get my cigars home with me for the summer. Then something hit me as I was rifling through the humidor, I will buy some large bags from the shop, throw my cigars in them, vacuum seal them, and throw them in my luggage padded by my clothes. As I talked the owner he told me forget my idea, as he motioned to follow him to the back. I turned the corner to see a humongous travel humidor, thinking immediately there is no way in hell I can afford that. We talked for a while about if, he showed me his fully loaded version and told me it was the way to go. After convincing him I was far to broke to afford it and thanking him for taking time out of his day to show me, he offered it to me at cost and told me to consider it an early birthday present. I cracked a huge smile and willingly took it off of his hands with no further questions, he set it up for me and told me to stick around and have a smoke. After my smoke I went home, cleared a spot on my desk for it, gently placed it on it's new home, and went to sleep. After a couple days of letting it rest, I decided it was time to her use. I have a herf tomorrow with some buddies and decided I needed to show her around town. I cracked open my tupperdor, chose a nice selection, lining the trays with cigars, and placing them in my new beauty. I'll be having some fun traveling herfs, with more than enough options.

Didn't you just say the other day that you didn't have any cigars?!?!

Oh Wizard King, how you can be so absent-minded...

Nice pull- I love my travel humi's I have 30ct cigar caddy and a Pelican 1500 case that I converted and I have traveled to some awesome and some not so awesome spots all over the world with them. I'm "living" out of both of them right now in Iraq as a matter of fact so I think you'll love yours. One thing that has further improved my systems/humis has been the addition of some heartfelt 65% tubes for them.... since these things seal so well the beads really help regulate them better than a regular passive puck that usually comes with them. Enjoy that puppy!!! Cheers, R

Sounds like you got a damn good deal and there is nothing like having the right tool for the job.

Nice set up, and some really nice sticks there. Congratulations on your new acqusition. I am sure it will serve you well. I have a Cigar Caddy that I use for longer vacations, and it works great. A size down from yours though...mine only holds about 18 churchills (I think).

This thing is absolutely gorgeous, I have many larger ring gauges, so I left out one of the foam inserts to avoid cramming or crowding the humidor. Waterproof up too 100 meters I think, floats, hard cased, absolutely wonderful, but massive though. I will have to grab me a Heartfelt Bead Tube to keep everything happy, but I'm excited to give her some use. P.S. Jon I don't, want to help a poor college kid and send me some? ;) :whistling:

LMAO! You're crazy man, I still say you go make best friends with Burtch and raid his humidor. Better yet, go find Bruce at two in the morning and take him to Dennys with you while studying for your exam!

 PJ, you're a good dad helping your kid out like that so we don't have to hear him crying to the board about him having no smokes! :sign:

Very nice travel humidor. I picked up a similar one from cigar caddy about 6 months ago. Works great w/ Boveda packs. Nice selection of smokes you have there as well. Enjoy!
