Hello everyone. This is a great forum and you all seem very nice. I'm from Chicago and have been smoking cigars for about a year so I'm basically a newbie. I have been fortunate enough, however to smoke some great cigars in my short experience. Padron anniversaries, Opus X, Davidoff, A few overpriced (but fantastic) Cubans during trips to Canada. I really love complex full bodied cigars. I've been a bit of a wine connoisseur for many years so identifying different tastes and subtle nuances in cigars is a natural enjoyment for me. You guys seem to be extremely knowledgeable so I look forward to discussing cigars with you instead of forcing my excitement on my wife who could care a less. :)
 
Welcome! Several other Chicagoland members here. Sounds like you have a good start to the hobby.

You will get a warmer reception if you post your hello in the lobby area of the forum. It's always nice to see another fan of the overpriced cigars. That way there is less competition for some of the cheaper ones I enjoy:)

This is one of the main reasons I looked for this kind of outlet in the 1st place. My Ol' Ladies most frequent question is: "What flavor is that? Is that cow fart flavor?" She can be a pain sometimes.

PS. I don't smoke "flavored" cigars.
