I can get the following bottles in time for Xmas. Prices are delivered to you. I can take 4 more in this order. Need payment in hand by 12 November, earlier if possible. LMK if you have some interest in this.

1.TOMINTOUL 27 Year Old - $110
One reviewer wrote: Quite a muscular Speysider. The perfect dram to buck you up after a woodland walk mushroom-picking on a cold November day. Cheapest US price I found is $150 delivered.

2.VERY YOUNG ARDBEG - $60
Limited Availability, may or may not be available when order is placed. If not, will wait until next order or refund, your choice.
Press release: A young bottling of the Islay hero! At cask strength, so a pretty fair price. The peatiness of Islay malts tends to decline with age, so expect a powerful dram. Not available in the US.

3.Green Spot Irish Whiskey - $70
Mitchell & Sons' Green Spot. One of the rarer Irish whiskies, described by whisky writer Jim Murray as 'Unquestionably one of the world's great whiskeys.'
Best of the Best 2003, Gold Medal Irish Whisky. Not available in the US.

4.GLENFIDDICH Gran Reserva - $110
Still available, may or may not come under the "Havana Reserve" name. 21 year old Glenfiddich which has been finished in casks which previously contained Cuban Rum. Not available in the US

You need people who want one bottle of each or any one bottle?

I just need 1 or more person(s) to take a total of 3 or 4 bottles. you can get 4 of the same, all different, just buy 1....whatever.

I'd be interested, except my mil based budget requires that I buy bottles witha one or two decimal shift to the left....

Soju (Korea) $3.00

Tanduay (Phillipines) $0.50

Mekong (Thai) $1.50

My extra fundage (when and if I have some) usually goes into 'gars rather than drink.

But I'll be living vicariously through those that can and do order...... and maybe some of the bruddahs around here can order some of my stock and experience the other end of the spectrum. Everyone deserves at least one "Soju Experience" in life.

Who are you kidding :p Rent free, Board either free or 80%+ covered, all you have to spend money on is booze, cigars and broads.

Sorry to threadjack... How is Soju? I love Sake and I've always wanted to give Soju a try.

cvmfour,

You're 1,000th post was to me. You have to send me a prize. :D

Already! You must really like that stuff. OK, I have you down for a Gran Reserva. Now we need to get a few more lined up and we'll be set.

C'mon people, 2 maybe 3 openings left!

This order is full, I plan the next one for the first week in January. If there is anything in particular you want LMK and I'll see if I can get it.

AVB....let me know when you order again! Do you have a line on any interesting Cadenheads???

I'll be posting at the beginning of the year (3rd-5th) for an order date around the 22nd. That allows some time for the payment to arrive. More Gran Reserve isn't a problem but the price will most likely be going up $3 to $113 a bottle due to the exchange rate.

If you have anything in particular you want let me know so I can look into it now.

(I PM'd you about the Cadenheads)

Soju Rules.... It's one of my favotites. Cheap and easy with practically no taste so it blends well with anything (esp Tang - how I usually enjoy it)

It is the opposite of other liquor though, in that for most liquors the first shot is hard and they get easier as you go... with Soju the first couple are like water then around the 10th or so the Ginseng flavor builds up and each shot is a bit harder.
