Don't forget to check out the March specials too!

Happy smoking

Hey mark, how big are the sensors on these?

I have the base station and three units, they work great especially if you don't want to open your humidor to check RH.

Hey Mark,

I just ordered the station and a two-pack of the sensors. The webpage went blank right after the confirmation step though. Could you let me know if the order went through? I'll also contact you through PM.

Hi Wilkey,
I received your order and payment confirmation just fine. I'll process it asap and you will receive an electronic receipt with your USPS delivery confirmation

Thanks for the support, I greatly appreciate it! (it's about time  )

Sincerely,
Mark

Sweeet!

Now let's talk about that $40K lighter. :whistling:

Thanks, Mark. Can't wait to set that baby up. What I really need is 6 channels though. Does OS make a unit with more channels?

They do have a "6 Channel" unit but the specs say it will only monitor up to 2 additional sensors  ???

I jsut purchased this unit this afternoon. Got home all excited to dig in... after about an hour trying to get the damn sensor to show a temp (it reads HH.H, which apparently means that its out of range) I got frustrated and packaged it back up. The RH was also reading 50% and wasn't moving or anything, almost like it was just stuck. Anyone having luck with these?

Mine work great and are real close to the exact RH. Only complaint I have is that I keep having to reset one sensor that apparently loses it's signal to the station.

Took the other one back and got an exchange. New one seems to be working fine. The first one was definately defective. Quick question for you guys that use em... I put the sensor in my cooler. Will the sensor read through the cooler on the base unit? or does it have to be in plain view of the base unit?

Thanks

It'll work fine through the cooler. I have my base unit on the other end of the house and it works fine still.

Thanks smelly. Everything seems to be on its way. How has the temp. been for you? Accurate? If these units prove to be as good as I'm hoping, I just might have to get a couple more sensors. Cigarmony.com might be getting some of my business pretty soon...

Still no problems here. Everything is working without issue. Presently, the set maxes out at 3 sensors so keep that in mind. I don't know if you can get around that by buying a different 3-channel system. I don't know how OS or other makers choose the operating frequency of these units.

Everything is fine here too. I have three sensors, with one stationed in the basement. I have no problems getting a signal all the way upstairs in the bedroom. I also feel that I am getting an accurate reading on all sensors. I triple check them with other salt tested hygros.

Odd thing is that I still have one channel open? ???
