New Members Guide released

In an effort to help new members along, I have created a new members guide. The guide will help point a new member in the right direction. All forums are run differently, so I think this will be a big help for all newbies.

Please review the guide, and if you feel I should add/remove/modify anything, just let me know. I want to make it easy for all new members to participate at CP.

Eric Shaw created a similar website called http://www.cigarbbguide.com It's a great site with tons of useful information. There is a link to Eric's site from the newbie guide.

I like it and took the time to read it twice just to make sure I understand, I think most people could read it every once in awhile just to refresh. Thank You!!

Any way to make new members have to go there before their post count reads 1? I really like the emphasis on filling out the profile, filling it out shows a real interest in becomming part of the community.
 
I'm topping this as many new members here are disregarding these basic principals of membership in Cigar Pass.
 
New member guide has been updated again. I will continue to refine the guide as much as possible.

Rod, you know how when you get new software or a game or something and you can't install it until you scroll through the licensing agreement and what not...then you hit "ok" and proceed?

Maybe you should institute some sort of similar dealy with new membership.

When they are approved, they can't log in the first time until the "Members Guide" is read...and to make sure they read it, they must pass a test of about 20 questions before they can log in.

Example Questions:

It is ok for you to post something for sale on your first day. True or False

It is perfectly acceptable for you to do WTS thread, as long as your Ebay rating is 90% positive or better. True or False

You may want to say something about not deleting portions of original posts/offers (unless you did and I missed it).
