I only smoke Cubans, because i travel there severl times a year. i'm retired and by accident went to Cuba in 1998. Met a lot of great people and saw the need of the average citizen. Through a lot of doctor friends who donate medical suppies, drugs, clothes and equipment: I take to doctor friends in Cuba. All the donations are offered to the people at no cost to them. Most donations to Cuba end up in a government store if you do not know how to donate them.

How does one "accidently" travel anywhere? Your plane was forced down by weather?

I think maybe if you were one of 5 passengers who set sail for a 3 hour tour and the weather started getting rough and the tiny ship was tossed................

i was on my sailboat in jamaica and my partner and crew broke her leg. I took on a local young man for crew and sailed to the caymen islands.Put her on a plane and could find no other crew that could legally travel to the USA. Sailed to Mexico, still no luck finding crew, the only county left was cuba so off we went. I flew him back to Jamaica and sailed solo to key west.I have a 53 ft sail boat and it is not easy to sail alone. So i accidently went to Cuba!!!

vitasea, I'm sure you have good intentions, so I'll just give you a quick heads-up here. The Internet is replete with people claiming to have "contacts in Cuba" from which they can obtain cigars.

9 times out of 10, these people are charlatans, knowingly selling fake Cuban cigars.

The Internet is also replete with people who genuinely believe they are obtaining real Cuban cigars, directly from Cuba.

9 times out of 10, the cigars end up being fake (even if they are made from Cuban tobacco)

When someone new shows up and offers a "connection" to obtain Cuban cigars, they are therefor greeted with an extremely healthy dose of skepticism.

This is a great site; hang out and enjoy it.

Welcome.

Moki's post makes me want to make a list of all the sights people have been scammed at for referance.hmmm

My remarks were in jest :p . Like Moki said. Do a search for "manu" and read the posts. I think you will understand the skepticism.

For real, though, welcome to CP from MN :) .
