The margins need to be downsized.. very hard on the eyes when the content area is so narrow and centered....
 
I'm with you Matt, I'm having a hard time reading this. I'm wasting waaay too much space on the margins. Close to two inches on either side.
 
You need to understand that you're viewing this at a high resolution. If we widen it up too much, people with a lower resolution will not be able to view the forum. I'll see what I can do to accomodate everyone...
 
I'm running at 1024 x 780 and it's giving me a headache....
 
I think it's about an inch overall better. I'm at 1024x768 as well. Still an inch + of blank space on either side.

Edit, more than that really, there's just a different color.
 
I'm running the same 1280X1024 as I was with the old format and I'm getting the narrower field. Why now and not before? ???
 
Uh.. there is supposed to be space on the sides. It makes the design.
I made the forum wider.
 
Now I cant see everything on the screen I have to scroll. :(
 
It just happened in the last ten minutes.

I guess it does look a little wider. Hard for me to tell. My resolution is a bit over the top but I like a lot on my screen at once. Cuts down on scrolling.

It was a necessary width change.. 800x600 is outdated anyways man.
 
I run 1600x1280 on a 21" at home and 1280x1024 at work. On my home monitor there is 16.25" of usable horizontal space. Of this, the forum uses 8" with 4" of blank tan space on either side. That isn't a good thing in my book. It may be a design but it isn't very friendy. The old forum had 0.75 " of blank on the sides.
 
I will stick my $.02 in, the fine print has to go or the background has to be made lighter and errrrrrrrrrr... Wider! Gives me a headache to look at the board for to long. Is there any way to have a skin choice? Something along the lines of the old one? ???
 
Maybe I'm just resistant to change, but I don't like it....
