If you haven't already tried, give the search function a go. Also, go ahead and introduce yourself in the appropriate forum. I think those two steps will do you wonders.

Hey jack.

I enjoy Fuente 858, Cuban Beli SG, and Imperial Coronas. Any of the regular Padron line. La Aroma de Cuba. All of those sticks are in the $4-$6 range. Mostly you will find out that this hobby/obsession is about you finding what you like. Take Mark's advice and search around the forums and read the posts to find out what other people have tried. Become a part of this community. Check out the newbie sampler thread. Above all enjoy.

Hey! welcome to CP. You should make a post in the introduction so we can all get to know you. In answer to your question I would suggest Padron 2000 Maduro's or a Fuente cheateau sungrown. Welcome again!

Even though they are a little more expensive than the padron's I started out with the Avo Classics. I found them to be a really good beginers cigar. Also you might want to give the CAO Gold a try. Other than that just check around the boards as there are a lot of suggestions floating around here. Hope this could help and happy hunting,

Jack, pm me once you've posted an introduction, and I think I can get you started ;)

You cant go wrong with fuente esp for the price. Oliva is another very well priced cigar that is very good. Padron, also very good, but some can be a little bit more per stick depending on which one you get.

Nice play Robbie! Way to step up.

I agree with much of what has been posted. Padron 2000 maduro is a fine tasty smoke that can be had for around or less then $4 a stick. I've also found myself partial to the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Factory Selects that can be had through Famous Smoke. Come to think about it, I've heard recently that there are some other bundled smokes that I sould check out through them. I think one was the Nicaraguan 3000.???

I have heard great things about the Newbie Sampler Trade. Thinkin I might even give it a go round this month myself...

IMO, the "JFR" is a good cheap smoke. They are regional releases, so check your B&M to see if they have them.

There are new releases by Tropical that are similar to the JFR. I'm not sure about the name. They should be available everywhere. This is what Mike (preembargo) told me, so you can PM him for more info.

I had a lancero that I thought was awesome for $3. I'm thinking about picking up a bundle, but I'm tight on space.

Connie #9. Cheap and tasty, for the most part. In maduro.
