On August 7, CAO will unveil the CAO CX2, the latest addition to the CAO family of cigars. The world premiere of CAO CX2 - the 9th premium cigar line from CAO - will take place at the RTDA 73rd Annual Convention and International Trade Show in New Orleans.

CX2 ("Cameroon-times-two") is the first cigar ever to incorporate TWO Cameroon wrapper leaves in one blend. Cameroon wrapper is widely recognized by the cigar cognoscenti as among the most cherished and highest valued wrapper leaf on the planet. Grade One Cameroon wrapper leaf is used for the CX2 external wrapper. The second wrapper - utilized as a binder - is also Cameroon leaf. Exquisite Nicaraguan and Colombian filler tobaccos complete the CAO CX2. The CAO CX2 spotlights and amplifies Cameroon tobacco's heralded spicy-sweet-earthy flavor profile unlike any other cigar before.

Hmmmmm, I'm going to be there and will be at the CAO party. Will be sure to try them out. Not too crazy about most Cameroon wrapped cigars, though. We'll see.

I wonder if there is any age on them. I really liked the Gurkha aged Cameroon.

very interesting. same sizes as the MX2,we cant get MX2 cuz of backorders.
my question is this will the Mx2 disappear after rtda? tim ozginer told us at an event in may that MX2 was too costly to make based on what they sell it for, an oversight on their part so he says. so if he takes the filler of MX2 and puts a cameroon binder and wrapper on it he can get what he wants for it. see the MX2 is maduro binder and wrapper. any way just my 2 cents worth. my advice is if you like mx2 find it and buy it cuz i dont think itll be around long
