Had this beer for the first time on New Years eve. Awesome beer and I'm looking for more info on it.

The place I had it is about 1.5 hours away....need to find one similar around here!

I have not had it nor do I know about it. But, I thought that I would post that at lunch today the local brew pub had their version of Scotch Ale posted as one of the next special brews. Schlafley is the brewery and it is about the only beer they make that I like. BTW, the baby back ribs are now boiling....Thanks HBS!

It just arrived at one of our locals here in KC, I haven't tried it, but it sounds good. I like smoked malt in a beer.
I'll give it a shot next time I go there.

You should give McEwan's a try. It is considered a prime example of Scotch Ale, very malty with a little peat smoke.
Goes good with a cigar.
