Hi there.

My father is almost turning 60.
I'm thinking about buying him a nice box.
Usually he smokes:
Romeo y Julieta Romeo No.1 or No.2
Juan Lopez Selection No. 1

I want to surprise him with good and big cigars.
I was thinking of Hoyo_de_Monterrey_Double_Coronas (box 25)
Budget up to $ 200.

Any other suggestions ?

Nice gesture for your father

Not sure if you can get any churchills or DCs for only $200, but I would recommend RA Gigantes or Bolivar CG. Both are full-bodied and smoke well young.

The Bolivar CG looks good,
also the Lusitanias but never heard of it.

What do you think about Cohiba GENIOS maduro 5?
I know it not very long bet its thick (52).
maybe a box of 10.

p.s.
I know its not Cuban but where can I get
Rocky Patel Edge ?
I read the review and it sound really good.

the cohiba genios 10 ct. are a nice choice.

the boli corona gigante are a better value.

the lusi are also a very good cigar that is now available in a 10ct.

perhaps you might want to try the monte edmundo in a 10ct. box.

cheers
drew p

Edmundos are fantastic cigars and boxes of 25 can be found for close to $200 USD. The Hoyo DC can also be had for similar.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I decided to go with Partagas Lusitanias (10).
I read some reviews on it and it looks really good.
Hope it will get here till the end of next week.

Montecristo No 2's are a favorite among many.
