Some of you may remember the beautiful Koa I got a while back. You might also remember the inlay technique I posted. I used some of it to build this little gem. This piece is about 10"x16"x14" The finish started by sanding the wood to a 2000 grit finish. Then 4 coats of Tung oil. After that my process to apply 10 coats of lacquer was done and again, sanded to a 2000 grit finish. Then I hand rubbed it out to get the shine. After all that, I apply a couple coats of wax. Now the fun part, sit back, light a fine cigar and go over it with a fine tooth comb. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks for taking the time to look. Have a great weekend.

Absolutely beautiful! The wood grain is amazing, and the inlays are just the right touch without being overdone. Incredible craftsmanship!

I can do cash. Seriously though, that piece could be anything and as long as it looked like that it would be a centerpiece wherever it went.

Bill, that is easily one of, if not the top best looking humidors you have made. Absolutely beautiful. Did Eric get my email? I sent him a ton of pictures a week ago.

You made this humidor by yourself? Wow, great work dude, looks really beautiful.

Damn Bill,
You got some talent there. ;) I think you made the right move going into this full time.
I cant wait to get one of your pieces.

That is easily my favorite piece you've shown us to date. Honestly, some of your other pieces are a little overdone with the different grains and shades of wood. I like this piece because it has a subtle yet astounding look to it. It's definatley a work of art.

Now if only you could get down to my price level...

Excellent piece Bill, you are truly a master craftsman. I can hardly wait see your next one...... :)

Adding fuel to the fire I also love this the most, but would love to see your awesome craftsmanship and this awesome wood in an elongated piece...more triangle I suppose? One day when you design mine...oh boy!

My cabinet humi is going to suck compared to that. :(

Awesome work!

Hell... You're tellin me!!! I put five pieces of Spanish Cedar in an ammo can and called it a day...

He puts God-knows-what on his and it's a work of art...

Beautiful piece of craftsmanship!
