My Humi....need more room already

Take out the oasis and put a cup of silicone beads. That will not take up as much room and will be just as effecient in that humi. But you're right, judging by those smokes, you will need a much bigger one, the longer you stay here.

Looks good to me, and it is the theme around here. I started in October, and I am already on my third humidor. I saw someone post a search for some Black Pearls. I have not heard of those, what are your thoughts modo?

The Black Pearl Morados are a very smooth mild smoke. Great taste and consistent, it is a long smoke time. I enjoy them. And the RP edge lot is actually the square edge, not the missles...If I had to redo it, I would have just bought the Edge torpedos.

I am actually looking at beads to get rid of the COXL to make room!!! Then get a larger Humi and use the COXL :thumbs:

The way to pick a humi is get the largest one that you think you'll need, then multiply by 2 or 3.

Although it looks like you can organize a bit and make some room

I'm right there with you man. I just upgraded from 100ct to a 300ct humi about a month ago and already running out of room. I'm in the process of buying a new house so will wait until I'm moved and then look into buying a cabinet.

I was looking at a cabinet, but now am in the process of converting my wine fridge. Starting the test today to see if it will work. Its funny to see this "old" post and how many of those cigars do not exist anymore

I sound just like you other noobs. I started in December best I can remember. It has been slippery slope from there. I just got the 300 and it won't work for long. Going to have to do the coolerdor to get any age on anything.



I am glad to see I am not completely loco. This is fun as hell, but.......this place is bad for the budget.





I think I really want to get an older piece of furniture and work it like some of the guys here have done. I was thinking about an old radio or tv cabinet. Or the clock'o'dor is fantastic. Bulldogg did that real nice. I need some room to age some things right!

My cooler has served me well.. they are nice to have around to age things, but they are a pain to get in and out of if you store your daily/weekly smokes in there too. Too much tetris! I am hoping my approx 250-300 ct cabinet will tide me over once I have it done, but I am going to keep the cooler around just in case!

I think that cabinet of your can hold more than 300 sticks! More like 3000...that thing is sweet!
