I bought a Herf a Dox X10 travel humidor that claimed to hold 10 cigars up to 8 inches long and up to 54 ring gauge. However, the 10 Punch Signature cigars that I also bought didn't fit. It wasn't even close. Upon measuring the opening I got 3 15/16" and since there is a slight taper the bottom was even smaller. Now 1 ring gauge is 1/64" so 3 15/16" would be 252 64ths at the opening and less at the bottom. With 5 bare 54 gauge cigars measuring 270 64th the difference is over 1/4" too narrow. If you are a "keep the plastic on" guy like me then my 5 Punch cigars are 280 64ths in width.. No way in hell they fit mathematically or physically even 50 gauge with wrappers might not fit in the bottom. So I called up the manufacturer and complained. I said either your marketing has to match the product of the product has to match the marketing and they need to fix this. Hopefully by making the box bigger and taking out the taper.
Now these guys make a dozen different brands of this same travel humidor so be fore warned the the 10 or 15 count box you buy may not hold the 10 or 15 cigars you plan to put in it.
